- Well Said!
-
- I can speak from experience.
- I have an Amiga 1200/030/50 that I use Quite often!! (even right now!).
-
- I have a 486/66 courtesy of my employer for work at home. (UGH!)
-
- Yes, each format has it's strengths and weaknesses, but I like the Amiga
- more.
- Why???
- It does NOT crash NEARLY as often as Windows 3.1 or 95. Period.
-
- AmigaDos 3.1 is remarkably stable. I crash my 486 at least every day, yet I
- use it less than my 1200! Ask any PC head to log off a BBS or an On-Line
- service. Have them close the window before the modem has clicked off. CRASH!
- I can kill a term progam right now as I type an the Ami...big deal. I'll get
- the screen behind it!
-
- I could go on, relaying how many different ways I've found to get the nice
- blue screen that tells you "IBMPROG.EXE is not responding", "Ctrl + Alt + Del
- to continue".
